The Subi Art Walk in November 2017, ended with a visit to the next two murals.
The first one by Perth artists Daek William and Ryan Boserio on a lane off Bagot street, Subiaco, which was difficult to photograph.

And this one by Perth artist Melski McVee, entitled "Subiaco was built on a Sunday", can be found at 147 Rokeby Road, Subiaco.
The artist worked with the Subiaco Museum to depict Subiaco's retail history, and the name derives from the fact that Sunday was the only day when workers had a day off, giving them time to build their homes. Another one that was difficult to photograph...
...murals in alley are difficult to shot! The second one sure is colorful. Thanks Sami for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom 😊
DeleteI agree with Tom. No matter how far you back up, you never get it all. That first one is beautiful and the second one is lovely, even though the color is a bit washed out due to the sun. Still, they both represent real beauties.
ReplyDeleteI need to revise my time line. Looks like I was an hour off now that my daylight savings time is gone and you never have to suffer that fate (lucky you).
Thanks Elizabeth. I added some light when editing the second mural photos as they were too dark, and it was probably a bit too much.
DeleteWe don't change out time in Western Australia, but a couple of the other states do. I've noticed that even though I put the link to open at midnight and one minute, the link is taking about 10 minutes to go live. Need to check with the Linky people.
Murals as monumental as they are colorful. I like very much the graphics of the last two photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Kwarkito, glad you enjoyed them.
DeleteNice murals. It's always a little sad when the murals are in an alley so you can't see the entire image at once.
ReplyDeletebe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Yes, not so easy to photograph. Thanks Mae.
DeleteOh so cute they included a cat in the top one.
ReplyDeleteI quite like the kitten too Amy 😊
DeleteAlgunos son difÃciles de fotografiar, como estos de los callejones .
ReplyDeleteMuy interesantes los que has fotografiados.
Besos
Gracias Antonia 😊
DeleteWhile they are very different murals, I like them both.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew 😊.
DeleteThose are both great murals. I think I like the 2nd one best. There is so much going on in it.
ReplyDeleteYes lots to discover there Sharon
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteAll I love is the cute kitten but all the rest is way too wild.

DeleteTwo beauties Sami, Subi went from having hardly any street art to a huge explosion of art during that period.. much better now :)
ReplyDeleteI agree Grace, it makes it all much more exciting and brings in more visitors to the area.
DeleteQue explosão de cor!!
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Obrigada Pedro, boa semana.
DeleteWell, Grace said it already, just my thought, also.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful murals, especially the first.
Thanks Iris 😊
DeleteGreat murals, Sami. A shame they were so hard to photograph as they have so much detail. I particularly like the second now with its retail history.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie. Some murals are painted in odd places :)
DeleteNice ones again. You know how to find them Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks S.C. still plenty of murals I haven't seen around Perth.
DeleteAmazing murals you always find in your place, even with cats!

DeleteAwesome murals
ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam.
DeleteI hate it when the lane is too narrow to allow a good photo! You did well with both of these ones!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat 😊
DeleteI especially LOVE the second one dear Sami! The burst of bright colors just gave me so much happiness and energy!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed them Stevenson 😊
DeleteYes, murals are often in places where you cannot get a straight-on view. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteYes, some are quite tricky to photograph, Thanks Linda.
DeleteI love them both -- the colors of the second, the cat of the first!
ReplyDeleteThe cat seems very popular with all the cat people. Thanks Jeanie.
DeleteYou know they are great murals when they are so huge and tricky to photograph! Love the cat!
