Signs - Recycling bins

Taken at Changi Airport, Singapore in December 2018 - these big recycling bins in the shape of a bottle, can or newspaper are quite unusual.
For other signs from around the world please check Tom's blog.

And another sign seen at Changi Airport - Don't forget your bags

  1. That's a very cool idea. Looks better and makes people to look and see how and what to recycle

  2. Great ones! Especially the last one ;-)
    Looks like ours!
So sad I saw a docu about how it´s really (sometimes?) done in Germany. It all ends up in one container and goes to China (I think they don´t take it anymore) or gets burned here.
A waste of sources, time, space, money.

    1. Recycling all over the world leaves much to be desired unfortunately Iris.

  3. Separate bins for plastic bottles and tin drink cans sounds like a very good idea rather than mix it it all in together like we do.

  6. ...Sami, these are clever! This reminds me that I need to take our recycling out to the street this morning. I hope that your week is going well.

    1. Thanks Tom. We have our recycling picked up every 2nd week and our normal thrash bin on a weekly basis.

  9. Singapura esteve sempre muito à frente na preservação ambiental.
O que era uma lixeira é hoje uma das cidades mais limpas que conheço.

  10. Love this Sami! There's just ZERO excuse to passengers not to participate in recycling with such giant signs to show which is housing which! Lovely way and fun actually to encourage environmental awareness :)
