I enjoyed all of these. They are wonderful. I've seen some, no matter how hard I tried to interpret them, they never made sense. These, at least, are all readable and enjoyable.
I think it's mostly the Australians showing their fun and playful side, and a way to show their interests or personalities. If I had one I would certainly remember my number plate, which I never do even though I've had my car for 8 years :) Thanks William.
Thanks Linda. I have no idea what the limit is here, but the maximum I've seen have 9 letters. The normal number plate in Western Australia has 7 characters - 1 number, 3 letters, 3 numbers.
Some of them are a bit sad as the car owners couldn't get exactly what they wanted. The original Awesome must be out there somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThere must be a just "Awesome" out there somewhere, as the 1 and 2 are here :) Thanks Andrew.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures.
Very special all theselicense plates with favorite names. In some countries you can buy a special name. Very funny!!
Greetings, Marco
Thanks Marco :)
DeleteLove them all! And! I found two here also, next Wed maybe I´ll take those :-)
ReplyDelete"Two", haha...
That's great Iris :)
DeleteThe licence plate that most appealed to me recently was that of a musician in the K-W Symphony. It said OPUS.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a fitting number plate David :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteNever my cup of tea but some look nice like the final one.
Others are kind of narcissistic...
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette 😊

DeleteWhat a great collection of fun plates.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon 😊.
DeleteWhat great vanity license plates. Do you have one? "Xtravagnt" is on a Mazda, a completely sensible car, not extravagant at all.
ReplyDeleteI have a normal plate, can't be bothered paying extra for a personalised one. That's tree the Mazda is not Xtravagant at all 😁
DeleteI always read the personalized plates. Some folks are ever so clever.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Sami. ♥
Thanks Sandee, very inventive people :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. Once in a while I see some that I can't figure out either. I presume they must have a meaning to the owners.
DeleteOh these made me smile Sami, are they all Perth number plates?
ReplyDeleteYes Grace, all from Perth. In fact compared to Sydney I see a lot more of them here than there.
Delete...Sami, you sure are able to find a bunch of plates with personality! AWESAM on that red coupe indeed was awesome! Thanks for sharing, take care!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful car. Thanks Tom.
DeleteThose license plates are so cute and easy to remember and spot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gigi, I'm always on the lookout for them.
DeleteI like Bitfiesty!
ReplyDeleteA cute one, thanks Jeanie.
DeleteXtrvagant :)))))
ReplyDeleteA nice one and it's not even an extravagant car. Um bom dia Pedro.
DeletePersonalized plates are really popular in your area!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat, Perth does seen to have a lot.
DeleteSome of those would be rather narcissistic.

Isn't it fun to look at personalized plates? I often tell myself that I need one that says just RO!(lol) Thanks for the great pics! Hugs, RO
ReplyDeleteThanks RO, they really are fun, I feel thrilled every time I spot one :)
DeleteClassic
ReplyDeleteThanks Padre.
