  1. Some of them are a bit sad as the car owners couldn't get exactly what they wanted. The original Awesome must be out there somewhere.

  4. The licence plate that most appealed to me recently was that of a musician in the K-W Symphony. It said OPUS.

  5. Dearest Sami,
Never my cup of tea but some look nice like the final one.
    Others are kind of narcissistic...

  7. What great vanity license plates. Do you have one? "Xtravagnt" is on a Mazda, a completely sensible car, not extravagant at all.

    1. I have a normal plate, can't be bothered paying extra for a personalised one. That's tree the Mazda is not Xtravagant at all 😁

  9. I enjoyed all of these. They are wonderful. I've seen some, no matter how hard I tried to interpret them, they never made sense. These, at least, are all readable and enjoyable.

    1. I think it's mostly the Australians showing their fun and playful side, and a way to show their interests or personalities. If I had one I would certainly remember my number plate, which I never do even though I've had my car for 8 years :) Thanks William.

  16. Those are cute. We have a limit of six letters here.

    1. Thanks Linda. I have no idea what the limit is here, but the maximum I've seen have 9 letters.
The normal number plate in Western Australia has 7 characters - 1 number, 3 letters, 3 numbers.
