Monday Mural - Le Mans

Photos taken about 1 year ago in the inner west suburb of Petersham in Sydney.

On the side walls of Le-Mans Car Bay repair shop, 116 Audley St/ corner Trafalgar Street, artist unknown.
This building is just across the road from the murals I posted last week at Petersham Station.

If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you;
just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you find murals everywhere.
Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters.  Looking forward to your mural finds posted this week.   Monday mural meme is posted at 12,01am Monday, Western Australian time. Thanks, Sami.

  1. What a lucky find. The DCA in the auto became clear once I saw the entire mural. There's no doubt what this mural is telling. I like the car, too. After looking at this for a few minutes, I'm sure there's a great deal of symbolism and special meaning in that mural.

    I always forget to tell you how much I appreciate you hosting this event each week. Unfortunately, next week I host my own event. It's every month on the second, and unfortunately, next week it interferes with when I post Monday Murals. Not to worry, though. I'll be back on the following Sunday (in my world).

  4. The car is so good. I wonder if the the numberplate with DCA has the initials of the artist.

    2. Andrew, DCA is simply the artist's name: Duro Cholo Arte, it is written on the wall...

  5. Dearest Sami,
    Yes, the artist's name is big enough written on the wall: Duro Cholo Arte and maybe the license tag DCA refers to the same?
    It's a wild mural.

  8. Maybe because I just googled Jan Josef Liefers on a mural Ingo took pics of (yes, another hunter here now! :-)...) - your mural makes me think of Elvis´ Pink Cadillac from the movie Knocking on Heaven´s door, yum. Also with Til Schweiger!
