Painted by a young French artist Manyoly.
She's the daughter of an artist, and dreamed of becoming a psychologist but became an artist instead. Mainly self taught, she usually paints on canvas using brushes and water colours. When she doesn't have permission to paint directly on the walls, she paints on paper which she then pastes on the walls.

Thanks, Sami.
That face has so much rhythm and movement. The overall feel is a bit grunge art. Really unique entry, but one I found interesting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Elizabeth.
DeleteYes … there is movement in the face.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this one Sami.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan :)
DeleteInteresting. I think I would be a bit afraid of a potential psychologist becoming an artist.
ReplyDeleteMaybe psychology is an art too Andrew, lol.
DeleteNice how this is part graffiti, part more classical painting, with permission from the owner of the walls.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae.
Delete...being a fan of graffiti, I like this one!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom :)
DeleteReminds me in some vague way which I can't explain of Toulouse Lautrec.
ReplyDeleteThanks David.
DeleteO pormenor do rosto é absolutamente incrível.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Obrigada Pedro, boa semana para si tambem.
DeleteSuperb work! Look at that intense look!
ReplyDeleteA psychologist-artist? Her work must be very interesting.
Thank you for hosting, Sami. :)
Thanks Dee. I think she mainly paints faces, maybe the expressions are what intrigues her.
DeleteHmmm, yes, la belle vie, so colorful!
ReplyDeleteLa Belle vie indeed, thanks Iris.
DeleteI like it a lot Sami, she is a talented young artist. The eyes are intense and the mouth a French pout xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, I like the French pout :)
DeleteNot sure why but it feels Spanish to me.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the reds remind you of Spain. Thanks Joan
DeleteHello, beautiful eyes and face. A lovely mural. Have a happy day and a great new week!
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen, have a lovely week too.
DeleteQuite vivid.
ReplyDeleteThanks William.
DeleteBeautiful. She's most talented.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week, Sami. ♥
Thank you Sandee.
DeleteThe best psychologist are artists, and vice versa
ReplyDeleteYou might be right Cloudia :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteIn the psychology, red means 'asking for attention' and she managed!
To me it is too red and loses its imprint on ones eyes.
Hugs,
Mariette
She seems to do the faces in many colours, as I also photographed one with blues, yellows and oranges. Thanks Mariette.
Delete💛
DeleteThe face reminds me of the musical Cats! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat :)
DeleteMore people should get permission before painting on walls. And more building owners should encourage artists.
ReplyDeleteI agree Linda, a lot of walls would look so much better with a nice mural.
Delete❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks Rue.
DeleteThat one has a lot of impact!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie.
