Thanks Sami

At Santiago Urban Park (at Cidade Salamanca street), I found a couple of murals.

Aurora - Painted in July 2021, by "Os Ruido" (The noise), the name of a creative project by Portuguese artists Draw (Frederico Soares Campos) and Alma (Rodrigo Guinea Gonçalves), the mural was inspired by Spring colours

Painted by Portuguese artist Bigod (João Domingos), who uses the stencil technique. This mural can be seen in same park, and was inspired by the gardens in Viseu.

This next mural was also at the park (maybe at the back of the Aurora mural, but can't recall now). On top left says "check-up" and shows a man who is bound and gagged in front of a computer.
Couldn't find any info on the artist.

  2. The mural of the man who is bound and gagged is interesting. I don’t think that’s a computer because it has “rabbit ears” on top of it, which would mean it’s a very old-fashioned TV set with an antenna. All your murals are neat.
Thanks for hosting… mae at maefood.blogspot.com

    1. Oh, I think Mae is right! Maybe a TV, rather, and the man is sick of what he sees, which might be the news - which I skipped the last three days...
Which, since ever, sadly bring no good stuff... clever mural.
The others are beautiful, but, oh. The naked trees.....Too soon this will be reality.

    2. Oh yes Mae, it would be a tv, not a computer. Thanks Mae

  3. I agree with Mae, that's an old tv like the ones we had when I was a child.

  12. The first mural is so pretty -- the flowers, the colors, the girl in it ... and all. The third one is a reflection of the lives we lead these days? :) Thank you for hosting, Sami.
    Have a good week. :)

  16. Dear Sami, wonderful! I find the first mural - Aurora - particularly beautiful - the face, the spring-like colors 🌸, the arrangement... I also find the second mural very aesthetic. The third mural puzzles me - is it a critique of the internet age or our collective media consumption? We may never know...
    All the best, Traude

  17. Very interesting murals. That first one did a fabulous job weaving the images together and painting that wonderful portrait.
