On our way to the East Side Gallery - an open air gallery on the remained section of the Berlin Wall in the Kreuzberg quarter, this was the first mural I spotted as we came out of the Underground train station where we alighted - Schlesisches Tor, and just before crossing the Oberbaum bridge.
The colourful map of the world mural was painted in January 2021, and is called "Umverteilen für eine solidarische Welt" or "Redistribute for a world of solidarity", and can be found at Falckensteinstraße 46.
The artists were: Marycula, Junx and Anja Ha.

Fantastic murals! I like the style of lettering as well as the map art work. It reminds me of the Vienna Art Nouveau style.
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae. Yes the lettering is quite nice.
DeleteThat is amazing and a brilliant way to take the building into consideration. Just bright lovely colors, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth.
DeleteA beautiful mural for a generous project. Have a nice week
ReplyDeleteThank you, you too :)
Delete...solidarity seems like a dream these day. Thanks Sami for hosting, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteVery much each to their own, but I think there is still a lot of kindness in this world.
DeleteI like it, it's like someone dripped rainbow coloured paint down the side of the building.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy, glad you enjoyed it
DeleteYour event is now part of my posting routine :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, glad you can join us.
DeleteOh wow! I love this world map.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea! Such a lovely sight!
Great find, Sami.
Thank you for hosting. :)
Thank you Dee, I loved the mural too, very colourful
DeleteA very cool work. Well done to the artist for the conception.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew :)
DeleteThank you Sami
ReplyDeleteThanks Cloudia.
DeleteThey plan a no-income-project.
ReplyDeleteYou don´t need much, you get the basics without having to have a job, any job.
Will that work?
Who will work.
Do you get a burger at Maccas still?
I don´t need much, either...
But those who have something will not be able to join. I have a tenant, and our condo is ours, I´m out.
It´s not a fair project....
Who will get your rubbish to the dump, who will do the unloved jobs? Will there be nurses?
When I lost my job I had to pay for my health insurance cause I am "rich" (I am not).
If we had a fair world that would be great, but as long as politicians put money in their own pockets first... and I think this is not only Germany... we don´t have a fair world.
There are always greedy ones.
The mural is a nice idea.
Sorry if I have to be that clear.
Sadly in most countries the politicians are the ones lining their pockets, and the rich just get richer, and the poor just get poorer. Not much fairness in this world at all.
DeleteBeautiful art.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim
DeleteBeautiful world map on the building.
ReplyDeleteCertainly is, thanks Nancy

ReplyDeleteI found some wonderful murals in Berlin at least, thanks SC
DeleteA great find. I love the use of colour. Not one I've seen but might be back there in a few weeks and will take a look
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm sure you will find lots of murals in Berlin :)
DeleteA noble dream and a gorgeous mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie, wish it wasn't just a dream :)
DeleteColorful indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks you :)
DeleteAt a glance I did not realize it was the world
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw it, I also thought they were just colours running down the building :)
DeleteWhat a terrific mural of the world on this building. Great find.
ReplyDeleteThanks TFG :)
DeleteIf only the world could be one and be peaceful.
ReplyDeleteIdeally it would be the best situation. Thanks Pat
DeleteDear Sami,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found my blog through Tom.
Thank you for your warm words about our farewell to our cat Nina!
I also really like murals. Maybe one day I can participate in the linkup, but not right away. I like the map of the world mural very much, both visually and in terms of content and statement. The wealth in this world is distributed absolutely unfairly.
I wish you a good start into November!
All the best from Austria to Australia, Traude

Thanks for your visit Traude. Please join us with your murals whenever you are ready. Have a great month too.
DeleteOh, it took me a minute to recognize the map.
ReplyDeleteYou have to look twice :) Thanks Linda
DeleteSami, I have tried off and on since Sunday (Monday for you) to leave Pictografio a comment and once again, I get a "Failed to publish." I get that on a few blogs, but return later and my comment publishes. There is something wrong between Pictografio's blog and mine, I guess.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what could be happening. Last week I put your msg on her blog. I can do the same now. Thanks Elizabeth
DeleteWonderful colours!
