Thanks, Sami.
Another mural from the inner city suburb of Subiaco, painted in November 2017 by Hayley Welsh, with her trademark whimsical characters.
It can be found in a laneway next to 144 Rokeby Street, Subiaco, entitled "Become what you dream to be".
Hayley works as a full time artist and has studios in Perth and in her native town of Blackburn in the UK, where she has also painted murals.
That's a cute creature giving good advice! I'm not sure change is consistently beautiful at the end, but we have to dream (as it says).

I agree, not all change is beautiful, certainly not when you are growing old, lol. Thanks Mae :)
Delete...Sami, there are messages that we all need to reminded of now and then. Thanks for hosting and the reminder.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom :)
DeleteI'm not sure about change, but I know ART is like that. The little creature is sure cute. This is a really unique and different mural this week, Sami. I take it a "laneway" means an "alley" in the states.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. Yes that would be an alley :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteGreat muralist and you've shown us this face before: https://sami-colourfulworld.blogspot.com/2020/11/monday-mural-paint-subi-3.html
Hugs,
Mariette
Yes I have Mariette, at the time she was starting to paint this mural and I never went back to see the whole thing, which I did recently and revisited a few other murals which were being painted at the time.
