Various signs seen in the small town of Bunbury, where we spent last weekend to commemorate our 40th wedding anniversary. (More about our visit in the next post)
Bunbury, a port city about 175km (109mi) south of Perth, is Western Australia's third largest city with a population of about 75 thousand people. It's known for wild bottlenose dolphins that often swim close to the beach, and the Dolphin Discovery Centre and the Leschenault Inlet, with calm waters and parkland rich with mangroves and bird life.
For other signs from around the world please check Tom's blog.
A toilet roll Christmas tree in celebration of the year that was 😄 |
I LOVE the toilet paper tree, the coffee bar, and the records which are so nostalgic. Great finds.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. The records are from the coffee bar, I should have taken a photo from the other side of the street to get the whole wall.

Thanks Sandee. I've seen a revival of the old records.
DeleteThe coffee bar signs look great, and the toilet paper roll Christmas tree is just strange. Excellent collection of signs.
ReplyDeleteThanks, the tree is meant to be funny, I think for the run on toilet paper we had a few months ago and for the s***ty year we've had :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteAha, that explains our toilet tissue shortage as you down under created Christmas trees with its rolls...
Belated congrats to your 40th wedding anniversary!!!
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. I was surprised to see that someone managed to get enough rolls to make such a big Christmas tree, but I assume it was a contribution by many :)
