  3. As I look at this array of kitsch, Sami, it is quite clear that in the minds of most Christmas has strayed far, far away from its original religious origins. It has become a bit of an orgy of eating, drinking and aggressive consumerism,

    1. I think the meaning of Christmas will hopefully change this year when people are putting more value on family and home and less on consumer goods. In my house there will be gifts for the kids only, the adults will get home made goodies.

    1. I would agree Tom. Flip flops are the national foot wear in Australia, lol. For most of my life I've celebrated Christmas in Summer, but it does feel different from a Christmas in a winter setting.

      Oh, I added the redipe for the onion cake here. It´s just a suggestion, but I want to make it again.
