Both relate to a very contemporary topic - Recycling - to contribute to the greening of our Planet.

Really neat politically-oriented graffiti!
ReplyDeletebest...mae at maefood.blogspot.co
Thanks Mae.
DeleteThe second one stands out in particular.
ReplyDeleteI thinks it's prettier. Thanks William.
DeleteHow can one not applaud the message conveyed in these murals? I am sure it is more effective than standard signs asking people not to litter etc. i wonder whether their success has been measured in any kind of quantifiable way?
ReplyDeleteCertainly look prettier than normal signs. Thanks David.
DeleteAs an Earth Day baby, I applaud their use of these murals. They get the point across and raise awareness at the same time. I wonder if it keeps people from littering because they will be caught, or if it's because they truly want to save our planet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. Unfortunately I still came across many young people who can't bother with recycling or who litter public places. It all depends on the education given at home too. But I think these signs do help to remind people of the importance of recycling, etc.
Delete...sad that this is needed! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteIndeed Tom, no one should need a reminder to clean up and recycle.
DeleteFabulous use of the sea wall - great message also
ReplyDeleteCathy
Thank you Cathy.
DeleteEstes também são muito originais.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana, Sami!
: )
Obrigada Catarina, boa semana.
DeleteBonitos e com uma mensagem muito relevante.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Obrigada Pedro, boa semana.
DeleteThey are pretty good. I wonder if it has an effect on NYE. It may not get as trashed now they cage up the beach partygoers. In the 1980s, we saw a car with its front wheels dropped over the wall.
ReplyDeleteOMG Andrew, really over the top behaviour! I can imagine all those party goers won't much bother about leaving the beach clean. Unfortunately that only adds to more expenses for the council who passes it on to the taxpayer!
DeleteThey´re really well done. Though it´s sad you need people to remind them at all!
ReplyDeleteTrue, no one should need a reminder to keep our environment clean.
DeleteFunny murals to use the pinguins to beat the trash around.
ReplyDeleteI think it's to remind us not to throw rubbish in the sea as it could kill or injure the animals.
DeleteGosto destes murais.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

Obrigada Francisco. Boa semana
DeleteThe message is clear. Now an evaluation if it works.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so S. C.
DeleteI love these! Just returned from Rome and the amount of garbage on the streets was awful never mind the cigarette butts!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's very sad Jackie. You would think people knew better!
DeleteNice mural
ReplyDeleteThanks Adam.
DeleteThat is a good one, Sami! It seems to be a problem everywhere!
ReplyDeleteSadly it is. Thanks Linda.
DeleteGreat mural! It's a shame that people need to be reminded. We were brought up to clean up after ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda. Me too, but I guess not everyone teaches their kids to respect others and the environment :(
DeleteNow that's a wonderful mural -- great message -- and fun to look at, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie.
DeleteMaybe this is the best way to communicate with young people Sami, through street art. Whatever works to get the message across :)
ReplyDeleteCould be for sure. Thanks Grace.
DeleteVery worthwhile graffiti.
ReplyDeleteThanks Revrunner.
DeleteGood messages - good murals.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan.
DeleteEstes murais para além de serem bem divertidos, são também um alerta para os perigos que espreitam o planeta, um simples gesto termina por ser um pequeno passo na luta contra a poluição que nos sufoca.
ReplyDeleteBom fim-de-semana!
Obrigada Mister Vertigo, tambem concordo. Boa semana.
