Painted by Krimsone, a young artist who grew up in the Blue Mountains, in New South Wales. He studied art at the National Art School in Sydney and fell in love with the art of painting murals.

What a super find Sami. I noticed when I was in Sydney in October last year there is more street art now.
ReplyDeleteYour comment had gone to spam! I found a lot of art but probably not as much as in Perth.
Delete...I love the bright colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom.
DeleteVery colourful! This one looks a tad bit grumpy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe because he's on the side instead of standing up, lol.
DeleteThanks William.
Very bright and some fine work on the feathers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew.
DeleteBeautiful rainbow lorikeet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim, they are pretty birds.
DeleteGoodness. I like the way the parrot is hanging onto the wall. Very clever artist and clever you for finding it, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth, it's strange to see the bird sideways, but it actually catches your attention.
DeleteBeautiful and just perfect for this wall, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris.
DeleteWonderful! So many details!
ReplyDeleteThanks Traudel.
DeleteA clever and beautiful mural, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThe big decision for the front of your house always used to be "what colour will we paint the garage door?" - I see the choice is moving on these days!
Yes I presume so Debbie, you could always paint an interesting mural :)
DeleteGreat mural along this wall section! I do like the bright colours. Wonder why its on its back?
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting and enjoy your week!
Thanks Christine, it could be that they just had that small wall to paint it in, but I guess they could have gone with something smaller :)
DeleteGreat mural but I wonder also why the parrot is on its back.
ReplyDeleteI suppose they could have painted a smaller mural of something that fit the low wall, don't know why they chose the big bird, but maybe that also makes people stop and wonder...
DeleteIt reminds me of the Monty Python skit with the dead parrot! ;-))
ReplyDeleteLol, maybe that was where the inspiration came from RedPat.
DeleteVery colorful parrot!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda.
