Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Thanks, Sami

More murals from the city of Aveiro in Portugal.
I spotted this mural painted under a bridge (Ponte de Pau) when we did a canal tour in the "moliceiro" boat. The following day, before departing Aveiro, we drove by to get better photos.

It can be found on Rua (street) Carlos Aleluia, and is one of the 5 murals painted in 2019/2020 as part of the "Seat Art Cities Project" sponsored by the Seat Automobile company. This one was painted by André da Loba.

As seen from the boat

You can see the Seat symbol on the top corner

  2. I can't seem to be able to open the link. It just keeps buffering. I'll keep trying though.

  3. My link timed out six times. I finally decided to add the mural from my computer and that worked. Not sure why I had such a hard time today.

The murals you shared are very colorful. Very bright. I love the color palette as well as the images. This is great. Not only did you have to photograph it under the bridge, some of the walls were uneven. You captured them perfectly. Well done.

    1. Thanks Elizabeth, glad you managed to enter your link, not sure what the problem was. If in future you can't add your link, just put the link in your comment and I'll add it manually.

  11. "Rua"... like French "rue", easy.
These days I see my Polish colleague´s PC a lot. I cannot read anything. He tries to show me what he does... it´s of no use! ;-)
Languages are crazy. Poland is just around the corner. My Mum´s family comes from nearby (Königsberg, Prussia, now Kaliningrad, Russia, I am not allowed to visit hence).

You are a real mural hunter, returning by car! I hope André reads your post!
I once drove a SEAT Leon. (Cause a woman "destroyed" my parked Polo). Great car, it was TDI. I took a day off to visit my Brother just to have a reason to drive that car! (And because I love my Brother, of course!).
Beautiful how the mural blends into nature.
Will we see more of the "octopus-man"?

    1. Yes, Rua and Rue, Portuguese is a latin language so many similarities. The octopus man will be shown next week. Thanks Iris

  15. WOW, great, dear Sami, that's a kind of "car advertising" that I can live with!
Today you will get a Mexican mural from me that I discovered in my photo album from 2004 (!).
    Have a good new week

  16. I wonder if motorists get distracted by them. They are worthy of slowing down to take a look.

    1. There didn't appear to be much traffic on that small road when we stopped to take photos, so maybe it isn't a problem, or otherwise drivers just get used to seeing it and no longer get distracted. Thanks David.
