This cityscape mural can be seen at the Elizabeth Quay station corridor that links the train station to the bus station.
The mural was painted in 2014 by multi talented Perth based artist Leanne Bray.
I have previously posted another beautiful mural by the same artist also at the Elizabeth Quay busport/train station (formerly known as Esplanade station) , which was actually her first large scale mural.

...I enjoy the graphics and color of this one. Thanks Sami for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom :)
DeletePersonally, I prefer this mural to Leanne's flower murals. I guess it's the beautiful graphics that get me every time. This one pops. I also like the asymmetrical repetition, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth, glad we all have different tastes as I prefer the flowers :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteLeanne created a playful decor for the Elizabeth Quay station corridor!
Love the squares, triangles and big circles used as well as the colors.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette, she's chosen nice colours and patterns.

DeleteBeautiful and so colorful, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha :)
DeleteI like this one, it's very modern.
ReplyDeleteYes, quite modern and different from her other mural at the station. Thanks Amy
DeleteBeautiful patterns to this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks William :)
DeleteI like these very geometric and decorative patterns. It is also the joy of the colour-blind, to see so many colours without being able to identify them all. Have a good week, and thank you for proposing this link, which is always so surprising and full of beautiful frescoes
ReplyDeleteThank you Arnaud, glad you enjoyed it even though you can't make out all the colours :)
DeleteI can only really remember the colourful wall, not really as a mural. I should check my photos.
ReplyDeleteI suppose when you aren't looking for a mural you don't really see it :)
DeleteThanks Andrew
Este é um caleidoscópio de cores.

Realmente pode-se dizer que sim. Obrigada Pedro, boa semana

ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam, have a lovely week too.
DeleteHow could I not have seen it?! Too many people, I guess. It´s joyful.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it depends on your route from the train station to the bus station. Thanks Iris

Obrigada Francisco. Boa semana
DeleteThe mural is stunning. It would be an added incentive to enjoy the public transit system. I think someone needs to create a mural in your honour, Sami, for showing so much of your city to the world.
ReplyDeleteThanks David. There are quite a few murals and sculptures in most of Perth's stations. Maybe a mural artist will paint me someday, lol.
DeleteI love this. All those patterns really appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon :)
DeleteOh wow that's fabulous Sami, how have I not seen this I wonder, I've caught the train to Elizabeth Quay 😀
ReplyDeleteIt's on the outside passage to the bus station, maybe you haven't gone through it :) Thanks Grace
