Monday Mural - The ladies at the Vat 2 Restaurant

As I mentioned last week, I also saw some murals in the dining area of the Vat 2 Restaurantin Bunbury.

The beautiful ladies were painted in July 2017, by Perth artist ArtbyDestroy, who also painted the murals from last week's post.
Apparently there are 4 faces, but I only saw 3, the missing one might have been in one of the private dining rooms.
If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you;
just follow the Linky steps below.   Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters.  Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Monday Mural Meme goes lives at 12,01am Perth, Western Australian time.
Thanks, Sami.

  1. Those are very distinctive murals. I wonder if they sell the silk scarves with their name embedded in the design!

As always, it's great that you put together this shared appreciation of murals and street art.

    1. Thanks Mariette. I managed to spot the last one in one of the small private dining rooms when they opened the sliding doors for a short while.

  4. Murals in the news again -- I think readers of your weekly mural collection would find this article and its many photos interesting:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/22/us/kobe-bryant-lakers-los-angeles.html

    Quote from this article:

"Los Angeles has a history of street art, from graffiti to towering multicolor murals. Expressing their grief at Kobe’s passing, many street artists have drawn inspiration from Judith Baca, Eliseo Art Silva and other celebrated artists who helped to establish a vibrant culture using the streets as their canvas."

    1. Mae, thanks for this link. It really got to me. I was a HUGE Kobe fan and these murals are wonderful, if not a bit surreal.

  13. Sexy!!! LOL, sorry, Sami, but that sprung to my mind!
No, actually... the first one is frightening. I would never allow anyone to cover my eyes. Ingo... maybe. Maybe not even him.
I had a friend who went blind, one that lost hearing on one ear. The first is more horrible to think of (to me).

    1. I suppose you could describe them as sexy.
I wouldn't be comfortable with covered eyes either.
I agree, better be deaf than blind for sure!
