For many years I've been on the lookout for personalised car registration plates, of which there are plenty in Perth. I have over 800 photos... Today I'll post some of my favourite PINK ones. Do you have personalised car plates in your country? For other signs from around the world please go over to Tom's blog.
I, ages ago, had a pink phase. Clothes, push-bike... name it. Luckily no more ;-) As you know we start with "BS" for Braunschweig with our number plates. No fun ones here. I enjoy yours, though!
I think each US State can decide whether to sell personalized plates. It’s interesting you have so many cute pink ones ... I see a few cute ones in Oregon, but not here in Florida. The ones I see are the same color as the regular plates though.
Wonderful license plates, Sami. In the states, you can buy a special personalized plate and pay a bit extra for it in addition to the cost of the regular plate. I bought one once that read "Tin Liz." Tin Lizzy was too long. You found some incredible choices for PINK, possibly one of my least favorite colors (grin).
Thanks Linda. Here you can get plates from footie clubs, from RSPCA, your own name, or other sayings and various colour backgrounds too. They all cost a yearly fee.
Dearest Sami, It looks like people in Australia can also select a personal license tag for their car. Not always a good choice as the names are odd but that's personal. Don't know if you are free here in the USA to select such a color... names yes! Hugs, Mariette
Wow! These are all so fun! I've seen lots of personalized plates in the US, but never pink. I really love all of these, and kudos to you for finding over 600 of them! Hugs, RO

In Portugal or South Africa there were no personalised number plates either. Thanks Iris.
DeleteWe do have personalized plates - not something I have ever considered, however.
ReplyDeleteI haven't considered them either David, they are more expensive than just having normal ones. But I have fun spotting them.
DeleteMuito interessante estes sinais em tons rosa.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

ReplyDeleteThanks William :)
DeletePink is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Sami. ♥
Thanks Sandee, mine is blue.
Delete...these sure are jolly good! Sami, it's fun to see your personalized plates. I've been collecting them since I did my post. Enjoy a day in the pink!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, it's fun to collect funny plates :)
DeleteI like to spot them too. Some are so special to the person only they can decode them. LOL. I would like one but not the added expense

Thanks SCS, yes some of the ones here too must mean something to the owner but difficult to decipher.

ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. Some of the plates I've found have indecipherable words, which I presume will mean something to the owner.
DeleteVirginia allows personal plates for an extra fee. Backgrounds can vary, again for a fee, but you choose from a selection that the state offers.
