Monday Mural - At the Candy Cow

A quirky mural I spotted when we stopped in Cowaramup (Cow Town) for a coffee break on our way to Perth after our short holiday in Margaret River.
Found just around the corner from the Candy Cow lolly shop, on the side lane used by the delivery vehicles.  What a pity it wasn't more visible to all.
The mural portrays bees, cows of course, gummy bears, lollipops and other sweets 😉.

Painted by Brad Loafer, also known as the Artful Yogi, it was painted in October 2018.
Brad moved from Fremantle to study art in the quieter country  town of Margaret River.

  1. Amazingly cute paintings. Cows are such an appealing subject!

Front page of New York Times today has a long article on a series of giant photo portraits hung in a small town in Georgia and the impact on that community.

  7. What a great fun way to brighten up the back entrance. Hopefully it will keep the vandals away

    1. Thanks Cathy. I doubt there would be vandals in a small country town like that :)

  8. Cute. It is a shame when murals are a bit hidden.

    1. Thanks Mariette. Bees seem to be on many murals nowadays, with the threat of them disappearing...

Oh, but that licorice, brrr ;-)
As a kid I always got these from my Grandma, and I took them out of being but polite. Much too sweet.

    1. Thanks Iris. I'm not a fan of licorice either or lollies in general, although I love puddings and some cakes :)

  13. Not one of my favourites of the murals you have posted - vaguely resembles graffiti.
