Painted by the very talented artist Paul Deej in 2016, this 35mt long mural of the various artists from the Seinfeld TV sitcom, was commissioned by Smartline Mortgage brokers.
It can be seen in the parking lot behind the IGA supermarket and the Smartline offices (corner of Beaufort st & Grosvenor rd) in the suburb of Mount Lawley.
It was a pity there were many cars parked in front of the mural so I couldn't get the full view, but the individual characters are spot on.

...what a bunch of characters.`
ReplyDeleteGreat characters Tom, thanks.
DeleteQue homenagem fabulosa! De uma das minhas séries preferidas que vi na RTP Memória! Não me esqueço do episódio dos chuveiros, nunca! :-) Obrigada pelo sorriso com que fiquei agora!
ReplyDeleteAgora fiquei curiosa Paula, não me lembro desse episódio.
DeleteVou procurar no youtube Paula. O Kramer era fantastico!
DeleteHow everything really goes around the world.
ReplyDeleteThanks S.C.
DeleteWow this is so wonderful. A great tribute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marleen, it's really a wonderful mural.
DeleteI don´t remember Jerry Seinfeld!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity Iris, Seinfeld is an iconic sitcom, very funny, I'm sure you would enjoy it. We still get reruns on some channels here.
Deletei used to love that show and i remember the episode with that shirt but i can't remember if they called it a "puffy shirt" or "pirate shirt"...that show was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Tanya. It was the "puffy shirt". I loved it too.
DeleteFabulous! Don't you hate cars that get in your way!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. Sometimes the cars in front of murals make it quite difficult to take photos...seeing it's a bit far away from home I didn't want to go back when there were no cars.
DeleteOh that's funny Sami, I took shots of this just before I went to Sydney to use when I came back ☺ I loved that show but I think it was definitely one that you either 'got' of didn't!
ReplyDeleteOh Grace, sorry I stole your mural. I went to visit a friend in Mt.Lawley recently and I'd heard of this mural, so stopped there to take photos.
DeleteIt's huge but each character is so accurately done! I have to confess that I have a soft spot for Kramer!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, I think Kramer was the funniest character too.
DeleteWhat a wonderful mural. Great popular series with lots of characters.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill.
DeleteQuánta risada dei juntamentecom os meus filhos a ver o Seinfeld!
ReplyDeleteTão bom!
Kis :=}
Obrigada Avo Gi, e mesmo uma serie boa para nos por bem dispostos!
DeleteA very well painted mural of all the figures of a popular serie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marianne, it seems it was popular in Holland too!
DeleteI loved that show! It is mural-worthy!
ReplyDeleteI think so too Pat.
DeleteI loved this show about nothing. Even now the reruns stand up to the test of time. And now there is a mural that pays homage. Cool. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting ODP.
DeleteHey how cool is that parking lot? Can you imagine saying to your husband - meet me at the car, I've parked in front of Jerry Seinfeld!
ReplyDeleteWren x
Thanks Wren, it must be Perth's coolest parking lot indeed!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't figure out why I hadn't seen your Monday murals, then realized your blog had not been returned to my left sidebar. Looks like I missed a couple of posts, too. LOVE the Easter bunny (the pink one) and your trip to Jurien Bay with your brother and sister-in-law.
ReplyDeleteI NEVER watched Seinfeld, but those are incredible photos. I agree that they should have been shown someplace where cars didn't park. I recognize Seinfeld, so I assume the rest of the characters are equally well done, too.
Thanks for visiting my old posts Elizabeth.
DeleteYou're the second person that commented on the blog they hadn't watched Seinfeld. I thought it would have been quite a popular show in the USA. But of course, people can't watch TV the whole day either...
Glad you enjoyed the mural.
Love the show...Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Dora.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteIt must be rather difficult for painting them in this huge format!
Looks very interesting.
Hugs,
Mariette
Hello Mariette, I can imagine it would have taken quite a few days to paint this mural. There's so much detail too.
DeleteMuito bom! :)
ReplyDeleteObrigada pela visita Marta.
DeleteWhat a great mural! I'm a fan of Seinfeld and the artist did a great job portraying the characters.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sara, I'm also a fan, it was a funny series.
