Monday Mural - Seinfeld

Painted by the very talented artist Paul Deej in 2016, this 35mt long mural of the various artists from the Seinfeld TV sitcom, was commissioned by Smartline Mortgage brokers.

It can be seen in the parking lot behind the IGA supermarket and the Smartline offices (corner of Beaufort st & Grosvenor rd) in the suburb of Mount Lawley.
It was a pity there were many cars parked in front of the mural so I couldn't get the full view, but the individual characters are spot on.

For other murals from around the world please follow this link:

Jerry Seinfeld
The nutty Kramer
George Costanza
Seinfeld and Elaine, Frank, Estelle & George Costanza, Jackie the lawyer, Newman & the Soup Nazi

  2. Que homenagem fabulosa! De uma das minhas séries preferidas que vi na RTP Memória! Não me esqueço do episódio dos chuveiros, nunca! :-) Obrigada pelo sorriso com que fiquei agora!

    2. Queixam-se todos da falta de potência da água para lavarem o cabelo (salvo erro) e chegam à brilhante conclusão que tudo depende do chuveiro! Eis senão quando o Kramer arranja um tipo de chuveiro para elefantes... vale a pena rever!

    1. What a pity Iris, Seinfeld is an iconic sitcom, very funny, I'm sure you would enjoy it. We still get reruns on some channels here.

    1. Thanks Jackie. Sometimes the cars in front of murals make it quite difficult to take photos...seeing it's a bit far away from home I didn't want to go back when there were no cars.

  8. Oh that's funny Sami, I took shots of this just before I went to Sydney to use when I came back ☺ I loved that show but I think it was definitely one that you either 'got' of didn't!

  14. I loved this show about nothing. Even now the reruns stand up to the test of time. And now there is a mural that pays homage. Cool. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  17. I couldn't figure out why I hadn't seen your Monday murals, then realized your blog had not been returned to my left sidebar. Looks like I missed a couple of posts, too. LOVE the Easter bunny (the pink one) and your trip to Jurien Bay with your brother and sister-in-law.

I NEVER watched Seinfeld, but those are incredible photos. I agree that they should have been shown someplace where cars didn't park. I recognize Seinfeld, so I assume the rest of the characters are equally well done, too.

    1. Thanks for visiting my old posts Elizabeth.
You're the second person that commented on the blog they hadn't watched Seinfeld. I thought it would have been quite a popular show in the USA. But of course, people can't watch TV the whole day either...
      Glad you enjoyed the mural.

  18. Dearest Sami,
It must be rather difficult for painting them in this huge format!
    Looks very interesting.
