Monday Murals - In Maylands III

Happy New Year everyone.

We've just come back from a magic 3 week holiday in Qatar, even managed to squeeze 5 days in Oman (posts to come).

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week. Thanks Sami

More murals from the riverside suburb of Maylands, just northeast of the city centre.

"Maisy in Baysie" - a stylised Marie Antoinette eating cake, by local artist and the city's 2022 Youth Citizen of the Year award winner Zoey Kirby, on the walls of  "Starwiss Patisserie", at 55 Eighth Avenue.

    1. I hope you saw some murals on your travels to very exotic places! I find murals in more and more locations, but I have never been to any of the places you just visited.

    18. Dear Sami, great that you are back, healthy and happy, and that you had such a wonderful trip! You have a beautiful collection of very different murals for us again - my personal favorite today is the mural by Ill Withers. Funny that Marie Antoinette's "cake teller" is even used for Australian patisseries - she couldn't have guessed that back then 😅
I wish you and everyone who is important to you a healthy, peaceful and happy New Year with many wonderful moments!

      Best wishes, Traude

    21. Sorry I won't be responding to you individually today. We arrived in the early hours of Saturday morning, went back to work Monday still jet-lagged. That night I started feeling sick with a sore throat and terrible cough and feel really terrible, as if I've been run over by a truck! No energy, no appetite, I just sleep most of the day. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll feel better.
We had a great time and found lots of murals in Doha.
