Monday Murals - In Maylands I

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Thanks Sami

In the riverside suburb of Maylands, just northeast of the city, there are quite a few murals. These were photographed last year.

Painted by New Zealand born, Perth resident Graeme Miles Richards, this mural was painted on a garage door at the back of Lyric Lane Bar, in Lyric Lane in November 2022.

On the walls of "Liquor Barons" in Ellard Lane, this mural was painted by Australia artist and author Kyle Hughes-Odgers.

On another wall of Liquor Barons another mural by unknown artist.

Next week's (16th December) mural post will be my last for this year, as we will be flying to Qatar on the 20th to spend Christmas and New Year with our daughter and son in law, who will be residing there for the next 4 years. I'll be back home and posting Monday Murals on Monday 13th January 2025.

  18. Dear Sami, this is a wonderful collection of murals. The first one in particular, with the bouquet, broccoli and camera heads, is bursting with imagination!
You wrote to me that a link from me wasn't working. That made me curious, because I haven't linked anything at the moment. I assume you meant the link with the caption "Traudel/Germany"? It's not mine, I'm Traude from Austria ;-) Unfortunately, I don't know who the "other" Traudel(l) is...
I read, you have an interesting trip ahead of you and a meeting with your family: So I wish you all a wonderful time in Qatar, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
I send you warm greetings from Austria!
    All the best, Traude

    1. Thank you Traude. Of course I wasn't paying attention, it's Traudel from Germany (Geriatri'x). I had read your post and noticed that you had no murals. I informed Traudel and entered it manually. I'm looking forward to our trip, it will be different.

    1. Thanks Marianne. Unfortunately since she finished her degree she's always worked away, hasn't lived close to us at all - first France, then Netherlands, the Philippines, Germany and now Qatar.
