Monday Murals - Birds of Cowaramup

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Thanks Sami

Just down the road from the previous mural, in the town of Cowaramup, near Margaret River, Perth artist Brenton See painted this mural at his Aunty Leonie's aromatherapy shop - "Moon Haven" on the corner of Bussell Highway and Bottril street.

Brenton See specialises in Western Australian fauna and flora, and this mural shows a Splendid Fairy-wren, a purple-crowned lorikeet (cowara) and Scarlet Robin, among natural surroundings.

  5. Love that name, "Cowaramup"! It sits very well with me as do cows. The murals on the shop make for a worthwhile stop. I would personally go into the shop to get a nose-ful of free smells at least and may be give them a little business, ya know? Thank you for hosting, Sami {and, for helping me out with the identification of the mural in my last post}. Be well!

  7. For a while cows with elaborate decorations were a huge fad in the US, but I haven’t seen any recently. I like these realistic ones! The bird murals are fantastic.
Thanks once again for inspiring collections of murals from around the world.

    1. We had a cow exhibition in Perth a few years ago, with various cows painted by known Australian artists. They were then moved to other parts of the country. Thanks Mae

  12. Beautiful murals! And the cows sure made me smile, too. Was it 2017 when there were cows scattered all around Perth? I think, it was, my SD-card crashed...
