Another mural in Bruhl, Germany. Couldn't really figure out what this mural is about... a nuclear explosion?
This one was in a park by the lake, where we went for a walk - a sports club for kids I presume - "Give everything for Vochem!" (Vochem being a suburb in Bruhl)

Do you remember hopscotch? A few of these on the pavements of Bruhl |
That was a very unique mural. Not sure I understand it, either. I never played hop scotch, but this is very colorful. I suspect it is far more permanent than the ones made with chalk. Thanks for hosting, Sami.
ReplyDeleteI remember playing hopscotch when young and yes, I do think this one is more permanent. Thanks Elizabeth :)
Delete...the mural on the side of a house in Bruhl city is my favorite. Simple and colorful. Thanks Sami for hosting, have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI liked it too and was just unexpected. Thanks Tom
DeleteJe les aime bien ces fresques. Celle du haut me plait pour les couleurs, mais le sujet est assez énigmatique. Bonne semaine.
ReplyDeleteMerci Kwarkito :)
DeleteI like all of them, the hopscotch brings back good memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. Yes, the days of our youth :)
DeleteSo much color and fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie.
DeleteThat first one is odd.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't figure it out either... thanks William
DeleteIs it perhaps the Hadron Collider thing? The atom splitter or whatever it did?
ReplyDeleteMaybe you are right Lydia :) Thanks for your input.
DeleteIf that was an explosion in that first mural, that's some massive fire fighting going on. :)
ReplyDeleteThe colorful straw-like things work so well with that wall and the winding staircase. Love it!
Thank you for hosting, Sami.
I also like the mural on that house. Thanks Dee
DeleteThese murals seem like abstract arts of some sorts!
ReplyDeleteThanks Roentare :)
DeleteYou found a bouquet of murals
ReplyDeleteThank you Cloudia :)
DeleteO último fez-me regressar à juventude.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Tambem a mim Pedro :) A macaca nao era o que chamava em Portugues? Boa semana
DeleteWe have a hopscotch in our home - no way to not hop when visiting us (actually only my teamleader really did!). Let´s hope no one pushes a button and starts a nuclear explosion - we´re not that far away from that with Put#n running mad...
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun to have at the entrance to the house :) Let's hope no explosion ever! Thanks Iris
DeleteI loved hoppy in the late 1950s, even though the grid was slightly shorter than the one you showed. Once I went to high school in 1960, we stopped with childish games like hopscotch, yo yos and jacks :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Hels. What a pity we stop playing when we grow up. I can't even jump rope anymore...
DeleteBeautiful! I too found a hopscotch drawn on the ground recently and asked my friends the same question 😀. My entry here

DeleteAmazing murals, Thanks a lot for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week ahead.
Thank you Rupam, enjoy the rest of your week too.
DeleteYes, I remember hopscotch! The sports-themed one is nice. And I like the vibrant colors on the wall, but that first one is a little strange.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Thanks Lea, enjoy the rest of the week too.
DeleteDear Sami, I don't know what the mural depicts either - you probably hit the nail on the head - anyway, it's enigmatic and well painted. I'm also happy about your other finds. Today I'll give you murals from Costa Rica again - this time from the Monteverde area.
ReplyDeleteAll the best 🌱🌿🌱, Traude

Thanks Traude. Enjoy the rest of the week.
DeleteI sure hope that first one isn’t a nuclear explosion. Somehow I imagine those are even more destructive. Still that when does make me think and drives me in. I certainly do remember the fun of playing hopscotch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan.
DeleteThank you Sami for your recent comment, and for maintaining this blog where we can post photos of the murals we find.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I do enjoy posting and looking at murals from all over the world.
DeleteI love the idea of hopscotch games around town. Thanks for hosting us, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThank Pat.
