Monday Mural - Rainbow colours

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Thanks Sami

Right next to last week's mural on the outside wall of IGA in is a mural painted by Darry Perier, a French street artist from Bordeaux, France. He studied illustration in England, and taught illustration and graphic design in China for 1 year and returned to live in his native country.

Couldn't find anything online regarding this specific mural, but I presume it would have been painted before Australia's international borders closed in mid March 2020 when the pandemic hit.

On the building across the street was this geometric mural freeze around the building.

  2. I love geometric murals and this is really colorful and very well done. I like how the black and white intermix with the bright colors. This is a wonderful find. I also like the frieze around the other building.

Guess I finally got the image to show after failed attempts the past two weeks.

  3. It's nice, different, but also kind of very 80s, I remember patterns like this back then, very refreshing Sami.

  4. It is a very successful mix of op'art and psychedelia. I really like these bright colours. And the geometric mural on the other building reminds me this painter Vasarely who was popularin Europe in the seventies. He even had an posthume retrospective Centre pompidou a few years ago
