And this one, not really a mural, but I though this aquarium like entrance to the Louis Vuitton shop was quite striking and colourful.
The simple, large shapes in the Duty-Free mural are really effective, and the flower murals are beautiful. So many airports have good murals.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae :)
DeleteTwo completely different styles and both quite effective. As much as I like the soft pastels of the flowers, I am truly in love with the duty free geometric brightly colored shapes.
ReplyDeleteI also prefer the bright geometric mural. Thanks Elizabeth
DeleteI like the quilted sky mural too!
ReplyDeleteYes, it really does look quilted :)
Delete...the duty free mural sure is an attention grabber. Thanks Sami for hosting, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, have a lovely week too.
DeleteLots of flowers and I love the one for the duty free. I've never been the Singapore but I imagine the airport being just as exotic as the photos of the city that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. It is a gigantic airport with so much to see!
DeleteI really like airport murals, they brighten up the blank spaces
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do brighten up drab airports, thanks Amy :)
Deletei've been told that Singapore was an incredible airport. These mural have very different but interesting graphism
ReplyDeleteIt's considered one of the best airports in the world. It's huge and has so much to see - art, gardens, entertainment, cinema...
DeleteNo dark meanings in these murals. Light and breezy as they should be at an airport. The Louis Vuitton entrance is impressive.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew. That entrance sure is impressive. I assume it has to match the prices, lol.
DeleteSingapura é em tudo muito especial.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Obrigada Pedro, boa semana
DeleteThose are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAre they all new? I cannot remember a single mural there (OK, after a 15 hours-flight where I never can sleep we always had but one hour to rush through and were super-tired)... Thank you for sharing, Sami - I hope "next time" (?) I´ll see them, too.
The geometric one advertising the new duty-free shop is new. The others I'm not sure Iris.
DeleteBeautiful murals at the airport. Brightens up the airport. Thank you for hosting. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy :)
DeleteAwesome murals, Thank you so much for hosting. Have a nice week ahead
ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam, enjoy your week too.
DeleteBeautiful, bright colours!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteBeautiful! Love the flowers, and I like the more geometric one too
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Thanks Lea :)
DeleteSo many lovely sights as we travel, Sami. Very best wishes to you and family.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo, have a lovely week :)
DeleteThey looks very good but airports also seems to have more money than normal businesses to pay for this kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteThey probably do :) Thanks SC
DeleteAirports are not locations one generally lists as "favourites", but if I had to pick two they would be Singapore and Bangkok. Why Asian airports are both more efficient and more interesting than others around the world I have no idea, but it's true.
ReplyDeleteThe only time I used Bangkok airport was over 18 years ago. Singapore I've used more often and it is among the 10 best in the world. Thanks David
DeleteWhat a cheerful airport.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great airport, thanks Klara
DeleteI really like the first one with all the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat :)
DeleteJust beautiful. Worth the flight for the airport alone!
ReplyDeleteCertainly is Jeanie. That's why this time I chose a longer layover so that we could visit some of the airport's art, gardens, etc
DeleteSuch nice colours, so cheerful :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan
DeleteBeautiful work.
ReplyDeleteThanks William
DeleteWow, that’s quite an entrance!
ReplyDeleteIt goes with the price I presume Linda, lol.
DeleteI love the Singapore Airport. These colorful murals are so cheery and what I'd like to see when I'm flying.
ReplyDeleteThank Susan, I love the airport there's so much art to entertain you while walking around.
