Monday Murals - Cheesy Bus stop

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.  Thanks, Sami.

"The Cheesy Stop" was painted by Jesus Ziegler in June 2020 on a bus stop along North Lake Road near the Leach Highway intersection in the suburb of Myaree, and turned it into an eye-catching landmark.

Wouldn't it be great if all bus stops could be this cute?

    1. I'm actually scared of mice Tom, but these are inoffensive and quite cute actually :)

  2. Very cute mice! The designer of that bus stop seems to have been very creative. The mice remind me of Jaq and Gus, the mice in Cinderella.

    Thanks for hosting!

  4. It's a very appealing way to liven up a bus stop. It has always seemed a bit paradoxical to me that most people instinctively seem to have an aversion to rodents, but Mickey and Minnie Mouse are two of the most loved cartoon characters of all time.

    1. Quite right David, and they are so lovable and cute. But as with the majority of people I too am scared of mice. But not scared of the bus stop ones either :)

  5. That is a cool bus stop but I don't think it would offer much protection against Melbourne's driving winter rains.

    1. Maybe it rains less in Perth than in Melbourne. Not sure, but we have a lot of similar bus stops. Thanks Andrew

  6. I remember those bus stops from 2006, thinking how clever the hole is, so you do not have to stick your head out in the scorching Australian sun! Sweet one, now I´d like some cheese, pretty please.
    And a bus into happiness.

    1. Thanks SC. The artist saw the holes in the bus stop (used for people to see the buses coming) and thought a "cheese" mural would look good there.

  20. This is so adorable. Even if you have an aversion to mice, you can't help liking this. We used to have lots of bus stops that had been beautifully and carefully painted. For some reason, the gorgeous murals got painted over with black paint and many of the stops were removed.

    1. What a pity your bus stop murals were painted over. I'm sure the murals would have been nicer than black paint! Thanks Elizabeth.
