For other signs from around the world please check Tom's blog:

Not sure it has anything to do with carpets, but I liked this quote I saw outside a carpet shop.

  6. Dearest Sami,
No measure of intelligence for changing your carpet... Not a very sustainable thought for our environment as tons of old carpet end up in landfills. And forget about the many side affects for health because of carpet.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  13. Good one. Worked for me in two ways.
Perth 1999, showhouse (we pretended to be rich). A couple back then our now-age. The woman complained VERY LOUD the measurement (and everything in general) was wrong and crap. Wonder how she measured that. She had no tools.
Ingo and I kept ours mouths shut, pretending we don´t understand... German.
I changed. These days I´d said VERY LOUD - in English - that German by no means is a "secret" language and that if she does not like it should simply leave.
