Another mural from the inner city suburb of Subiaco, in the Rowland street carpark.

It was commissioned by the Subiaco Church of Christ, painted by artist Bee Tan and community volunteers,  and was inspired by the Biblical "Parable of the Seed", featuring silhouettes of local residents around the giant Boab tree and painted in June 2012.

  10. Beautiful one. Makes me think of Derby, The Kimberly, Kings Park and Le Petit Prince. Great times. Sadly now it´s the latter, in the swing...

    1. The colours remind me of Africa, but the Kimberleys (where I haven't been) would have the same shades. Thanks Iris.

  13. Dearest Sami,
Love the way the top part fades into the sky and the bottom part kind of matches the pavement.
    Very well done.

  15. This mural would be right at home in South Africa. Do you have any idea of the annual income of a good muralist?

    1. Yes when I saw it the colours reminded me of Africa. I have no idea how much muralists make David. Hope they make enough to live comfortably :)
