A few more personalized number plates seen around Perth, this time dedicated to all the Nana's (Grandmothers) out there...
I'm so missing hugging my grandkids right now 😔
I'm sure the grandpa's are also missing them, they just don't say it.
For other signs from around the world please pop over to Tom's blog.
My grandchildren are well beyond the hugging stage and none of them live locally in any event.
ReplyDeleteMy two are quite small - a 3 year old and 1 year old :)
DeleteThanks David, keep well.
...I collect license plate pictures, but not on a theme. These are amazing Sami, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have all sorts, just happened to look through them and found quite a few with a common theme :) Thanks Tom.
DeleteYes, I can imagine you miss hugging them. I just had Ingo print some Wendy Binks kids-paint-stuff to send over, I miss my Nieces, too.
ReplyDeleteBig Niece is not fond of English lessons and I hope she falls in love with Wendy´s stuff and hence the language...
Have not seen one cool number plate here lately!!!
That's a good idea Iris. Nowadays it's always good to be able to speak English.
DeleteSurprising personal license plates respecting their grandmothers. Great series.
ReplyDeleteThanks Taken for Granted :)
DeleteLove them all and I love being a grandmother and a great grandmother. I just know realize it was going to happen so quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Wow, great-grandmother already. My parents have 5 great-grandkids :)
DeleteI would have never thought of such a plate. I bet a lot of them were gifts!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat :)
DeleteA great series of grandmother license plates. Nice finds, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill.
DeleteOh Sami this is such an amazing collection you have here! Now I miss my grandma. She took care of the whole family and she put me to school from Kindergarten until college. I will forever be grateful for her not just for the things she provide but for the priceless and unconditional love and happiness she was always exuding for me. I love her and I miss her every single day since she passed last 2015. Love this post Sami! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stevenson. You certainly had a wonderful grandmother. Sadly I only knew my grandparents from my Mom's side, they looked after me until I was about 7 years old, then they moved to Portugal, so we only saw them maybe every 2 years, they both died before I was 20.
DeletePeople can be enormously creative. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think so too Mark :)
DeleteHello, love all the cool Nana plates. Great finds and post.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy day!
Thank you Eileen, enjoy your day too.
DeleteYou have found some incredible license plates this week, Sami. You are lucky you aren't on lock down due to your job, so you can get out and find these fun examples. You put together a lovely and fun group this week. I'll see you Sunday with a mural, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth, I have a collection of over 800 photos of number plates, these weren't taken in the last couple of months, in fact I have hardly seen funny number plates lately.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteSpecial tags indeed.
You are just lucky for living near your relatives.
We have been separated far away for almost 36 years... so we know how it feels for being able to hug one another!
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. We only have our son, daughter in law and grandkids nearby. The rest of the family live scattered around the globe, from the Philippines, Portugal, USA, Brazil, Angola and South Africa. Luckily technology keeps us closer :)
DeleteThat's still more than none... 😉
DeleteOh wow Sami, who knew there could be so many Nanna plates, I love them. Let's face it, without Nanna, and grandad, they wouldn't be here :) Take care Sami and hopefully lots of cuddles coming your way in the not to distant future 💙
ReplyDeleteI too was surprised when I was going through my Number plates file. Thanks Grace, hope so too :)
DeleteI am amazed at how many themed number plates you manage to find. What a collection this week.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to find so many Nana plates for this post. Thanks Andrew
DeleteO neto do Paul McCartney chama-lhe grandude :))))
ReplyDeleteQue giro, muito original Pedro :)
DeleteGreat.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim.
DeleteNanna is very popular...
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are Marianne :)
DeleteI feel exactly the same, Sami. I miss them so. Great license tags.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie, sad times :(
