It was painted by Busselton artist Jack Bromell, and the photos were taken in December 2019, when we and our overseas visitors were returning home from our short holiday in Margaret River.

Hugs, from a wet ― severe thunderstorm Georgia,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette, we're having a couple of wet and cooler days too.
DeleteHope the thunderstorms aren't too bad.
...black and white murals can often be quite dramatic and this one is no exception. There is so much detail, I would guess that you could look it over and over again and see new things.
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of see for sure Tom. Thanks :)
DeleteThe style of that mural reminds me of one that I saw in Ushuaia, Argentina, and also a few others. I suspect there's an influencer somewhere but I'm unaware what it is. My murals today are made for the pandemic.
ReplyDeletebe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae :)
DeleteWhat an incredible fresco. I find the quality of the drawing and the singularity of this graphic design remarkable. It's a beautiful black and white, with a multitude of very intriguing details. A beautiful find. I wish you a good week
ReplyDeleteThanks Kwarkito, have a great week too.
DeleteQuite an interesting design.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim :)
DeleteGosh I've never seen one quite that long.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy :)

DeleteQuem consegue fazer estes murais tem que ser feliz.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Pelo menos tem talento, mas tambem deve ser feliz por isso, lol.
DeleteObrigada Pedro, boa semana.
Ode to the laborer. I really enjoyed these black and white images in these murals. We're on lock down here, so even if I weren't on hiatus (due to my recycling posts), I wouldn't be out looking for murals. No one is out and about here, at least not in my neighborhood, which is usually pretty busy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. Keeping safe in lockdown is the best option at the moment. I don't think there are murals being painted during this time, so I have to rely on what I have that I still hadn't posted. Luckily I have enough for the next 2 months probably.
DeleteAmazing
ReplyDeleteWelcome and thank you Rupam.
DeleteThe diver is my favourite, he reminds me of Broome :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere Ingo still owes me a Pizza in Sun Pictures!
Thanks Iris. A trip to Broome on the horizon then :)
DeleteGosh they are amazing Sami, so much detail in each one. Love the black and white. Can't believe I missed them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, apparently they were painted in 2016, I also missed them on a previous visit.
DeleteMy find is also black and white...
ReplyDeleteThanks Traudel.
DeleteFantástico estes murais.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

DeleteSurely that must be 1,841 metres, Sami. It could not possibly be kilometres. it would go half way to Singapore!
ReplyDeleteYou are right David, 1km 841metres. Glad you spotted it :)
DeleteSami, thanks for stopping by and sharing the items you also like to collect...isn't is crazy what we gather? We are also celebrating our 40th anniversary (August) and had planned to go back to Bermuda, but we might have to put that on hold due to Covid_19. I still have a few collectibles (menu, matchbooks, swizzle sticks, etc)from our honeymoon there and wanted to bring them back to the same resort to share with them! Stay well!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Patti. That would have been wonderful to go back to where you honeymooned and to take back your memories from that time.
DeleteSadly we spent our honeymoon in Durban, South Africa, and I certainly wouldn't like to go back there.
I like the artist's style! Thanks for hosting us, Sami!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat.
DeleteQuite a lot of work went into this mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, it does look quite complex.
DeleteI enjoyed seeing those murals, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and all your family are keeping yourselves safe from that virus!
Thanks for your visit Lon. We are keeping safe thank you, hope you too are well.
DeleteThis is really quite imprssive, Sami. The black and white really works!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie, different from the usual murals, but quite pretty too.
DeleteWonderfully drawn!
