Signs - Boat names II

A few, or a lot of photos with boat names, of boats moored at the Royal Perth Yacht Club and at Rottnest Island.
You can read about our trip to the island on the 29th September here.

What would you name your boat? I'm not much of a "boatie" but if I could afford to buy a nice yacht I would probably name it "Sunshine".
FOR OTHER SIGNS please go over to Tom's blog.

  2. Oh, wow, so many great names!
You even kinda have my Dad and me in there - born in January and I´ve been at "The Tropic Of Capricorn" near Alice Springs and my Dad was on Galapagos!
But a boat? Nooooo.... H & B from near Kwinana had one when they still lived in the north and let Ingo "drive" - holy, moly, no, way too fast!

    1. Thanks Iris. A bit of a waste for me too, more of a land person.

  3. I love the names of boats. Some can be so funny, some clever and some mundane. The funniest on I saw was "Wet Dreams".

  8. I love boat names too, will have to post some.

I agree with Andrew, though, could never see the pleasure in owning a boat.

    1. Thanks Jackie, I don't think I would be spending money on one either, unless I won Lotto, then I'm sure my husband would be buying one, as he loves boats :)

  9. There are so many clever names for boats. Our boats name is Anewatee. Everyone pronounces it wrong.

Have a fabulous day, Sami. ♥

    1. Thanks Sandee. My husband would love to own a boat, I just can't see myself spending enough time on one to warrant such a purchase.

  13. Dearest Sami,
It really makes one laugh too at how silly and mistaken sometimes they baptize their 'toys'...
So what they got a yacht?!
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  14. I have no idea what I might call it. Perhaps "Gravol" as I tend to get a bit seasick at times. ;-)

  15. I am SO sorry to be so late visiting. Beside the squirrel problem, I got back online just in time to learn there was going to be a hard freeze tonight. I spent the entire day cutting back my herbs and getting the ones I could lift into the house. The others I covered tonight with sheets. You don't seem to have that problem.

I'm like your husband. If I had the money and could get rid of a bunch of my accumulated junk, I'd love to live on a boat. I got a laugh at Uforia.

    1. Sorry about the cold weather problem Elizabeth, seems quite early for that. Hope your herbs survive being uprooted.
