We stayed at an Airbnb in the vibrant bohemian quarter of Cours Julien, and as well as a lot of ugly graffiti, there was a lot of street art in the little lanes, shopfronts, garage doors, etc.

Other FACES murals seen in Marseille:
The first one is my favorite. The face was so thoughtful and wistful. The others were great, but not as expressive as the first.ReplyDelete
Can you believe it? I got back online for the first time in over two days just about 20 minutes ago. I was SO lucky to have a friend who knew what to do.
Thanks for hosting this great event, Sami. You are right. I see murals EVERYWHERE now!
So glad all is back to normal with your internet Elizabeth. And also glad you're now spotting murals everywhere :)Delete
Fantásticos estes retratos e aproveito para desejar um bom Domingo.ReplyDelete
Dedais de Francisco e Idalisa
Obrigada Francisco, boa semana para si.Delete
...rather haunting! Thanks Sami for hosting.ReplyDelete
The first stands out most for me.ReplyDelete
I also prefer the first one, thanks WilliamDelete
Quite 'dark' murals aren't they. You are right about graffiti in Marseille. It was everywhere.ReplyDelete
Except for the first one I also found the others "dark". Thanks Andrew, and yes Marseille has far too much graffiti.Delete
Very nicely done graffiti-style murals.ReplyDelete
Thank you for hosting, Sami. :)
Thank you Dee.Delete
Not very happy or friendly looking faces...
Really not too friendly :( Thanks MarietteDelete
I love the first one. The others - or all - maybe represent what we (in Germany) learn in the news, stressful political times in France (as here...)ReplyDelete
Yes, I too prefer the first one, the others are sad and dark. I suppose it could have to do with the French situation.Delete
Nice finds. I like the first two bestReplyDelete
Thank you Bertie.Delete
Such sombre, beautiful faces! :) :) I'm linking this week, Sami, because there's some lovely street art in my walk.ReplyDelete
Thank you Joanne, yes very pretty murals you found in Ferragudo :)Delete
A great selection of faces.ReplyDelete
Thanks Joan Elizabeth.Delete
It's a little bit like the current state of humanity. Not many happy faces.ReplyDelete
You're right SC, not too many happy faces in these murals.Delete
Yes a bit sombre images....ReplyDelete
Thanks Marianne, yes very dark and sad faces.Delete
Hello, great finds and murals. The first one is my favorite. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!ReplyDelete
Thank you Eileen, have a lovely week too.Delete
Thanks Jackie :)Delete
They are all beautiful Sami, such a shame though that only the last one has escaped tagging ✨ReplyDelete
Yes, not much escapes tagging in Marseille Grace :(Delete
Street art is the best. I need to find some in my area to photograph.ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous day and week, Sami. ♥
