Monday Mural - Octopus

On a drive along the coast I came across this mural when we stopped at a traffic light in North Fremantle.

This was one of the murals painted for FORM Public2015, by Welsh artist Phlegm on the walls of the old Naval Store, located at 141 Queen Victoria Street.

For other murals from all over the world click on this link.

I can't believe Form2016 is almost upon us...from the 1st to the 17th of April, so a lot more murals coming up all over Perth!
Hope you had a great Easter weekend, we had a very long weekend from Friday to Monday, so for us working folk it will be a short working week, yay!
Enjoy the rest of the week.

  4. Wow that is so realistic - I thought it was a sculpture. Looks as though it could march right over and engulf you in its tentacles... I love short weeks...

  5. Came in from Biebkriebels and it was loading I first thought the octopus was a statue. But I see it not.
I have trouble enough managing on two legs. If I had eight I don't know what I would do.

    1. Yes Wren ready for the next lot, although today I went to Fremantle on a search for murals I hadn't yet photographed and found over a dozen! A lot of Monday murals in the pipeline. Looking forward to your A to Z. Strange that Melbourne would show up as Auckland...a good start for your A .

  12. I love the mural! I live near a train tracks and I love even the train cars painted with graffiti! There is something oddly interesting to see what people can do with the side of a building(or train car).
