Thanks, Sami.
This very, very long dachshund was painted by Cale Hummerston for the "No more blank walls festival" in the northern Perth suburb of Mount Lawley in April 2022.
Painted on the ceiling of the entrance to a car parking garage in the little lane at the back of the Astor Theatre, just across "the hands" mural and near the "Lois and Reija" mural.
I can't get Linky tools to take my Link. I have tried every combination they have suggested. Here is my link.

Hi Elizabeth, not sure what could be the problem, I've entered it manually, hope it goes well for everybody
DeleteI like it when you have to hunt for a mural. I have found a couple like that, but found it impossible to get a decent photo. Your silly sausage dog is adorable and you did a great job photographing it, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth, not too easy to photograph it looking up at the ceiling :)
Delete...Sami, I tried to leave a message when I linked, Blogger was misbehaving. We have foot long hotdogs here, but this one is amazing! Thanks for hosting and enjoy a wonderful holiday.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, it had gone to spam.
DeleteSami, I also left a comment on the silly sausage dog, but it seems to have also disappeared. Please check your spam folder.
ReplyDeleteYes, it had gone to spam, published now. A few spam messages seem to get through and then regular reader's messages are going to spam! Weird!!
DeleteLove the sausage dog and I agree, there should be no blank unpainted walls anywhere
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy :)
DeleteVery whimsical.
ReplyDeleteCertainly is William :)
DeletePainting a mural on the overhang/ceiling of a building is a new idea to me, and really works well with the very long dog image. Nice find!
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Very unusual indeed, but this looks just right in that spot, thanks Mae
DeleteThis one is really funny. I love it. Kwarkito
ReplyDeleteThanks Kwarkito :)
DeleteIt is really stretched out. I like that it is painted on the overhang.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew, very unusual spot to paint a mural indeed.
DeleteThat is so very cool. Love it. Very nice.

DeleteYes, it is a very, very long cute sausage dog. It is not easy to paint on the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, I agree it wouldn't have been easy to paint it.
DeleteThat´s a great motto and a very cute, fun mural, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris :)

DeleteA creative mural, Sami. This particular hot dog seems to have been routinely converted to spam!
ReplyDeletepainting on the ceiling must be exhausting.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it must be difficult! The artist must have been lying on his back :)
DeleteThat's a cute one! I hope people look up to see it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it was very visible, but maybe others also look up :)
