Looking forward to your mural finds this week.  Thanks, Sami.

Painted by Hope & Kanbarni for the "No more blank walls festival" in the northern Perth suburb of Mount Lawley in April 2022, in the little lane on the back of the Astor Theatre.

Brendan known as Hope, is a 26 year old born in Darwin but based in Perth, and Kamsani Bin-Salleh, known as Kambarni is an Aboriginal illustrator, who reflects the natural world with his intricate designs. In 2018 he won the Western Australia Young Person of the Year award.

  1. These hands are very realistic. I'm not sure if it's the background or what, but they look three dimensional in some of the photos you shared. These are beautiful. Surprised to see art from 2022 already.

    1. They do look three dimensional, I think it's the way they were painted. Most of the murals I've shared the last 3 or 4 weeks were already painted in May this year.

  2. In a way, those hands are creepy -- they seem to emerge from the abstract background in a weird way. Neat mural! Thanks for hosting.
