Monday Mural - A pop of colour

Two murals from our November trip to Bunbury painted in the unmistakable style of Perth artist - Anya Brock.

The first - the Ibis, can be seen at Graham Bricknell Sound Shell Bicentennial Square on Symmons Street, and the other - a female face, is among a dozen other murals in ShoeBeDoo Lane (isn't this just a great name?), just off Stephen Street.

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.     Thanks, Sami.

  1. Pop of color is definitely a great intro to these two distinct murals. Both are simply incredible. I was just so incredibly impressed with both, from the beauty of the birds to the lovely female face to the abstract part of each of these murals. They were fabulous. I'm SO glad you host this event, Sami.

  7. Dearest Sami,
In the top photo it looks almost as for the center shore bird, the artist had started out with painting something else first...
Love the face, great eye expression and the others are just 'loud'.
    Hugs,

  16. Great murals. The first one would make a great cover for a book on birds of the wetlands! It is amazing that you can find so many murals to have this weekly feature, Sami. Without doubt you have a special mural-sniffing lobe in your nose!
