When I used a different entrance into the shopping the last time I visited at the beginning of March this year, I noticed a couple of murals I hadn't yet seen.
The first one was painted by Hiroyasu Tsuri - aka Twoone, a Japanese born artist who now lives in Melbourne.
The last one is on the exterior wall of the Canton Bay Dim Sum restaurant - is by Perth artist Daek Williams (thanks to Grace, for the discovery).

The nature inspired mural is beautiful. So cool and calming. The second one definitely has an oriental flare, and the cat caught my eye right away. I like them both, I suspect because they are both so very, very different. Like day and night, in fact. Great finds, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. I quite like the first one too.

DeleteBeautiful murals! I linked two examples of street art that are directly related to today’s most pressing current events — the nation-wide and world-wide protests against racist abuses in the US.
