Well, I'm past 50, but what about this classic MG from 1950? Don't you just love this curvy beautiful renovated red model?
Yesterday as I looked out the clinic's window I saw one of our patients alighting from this beauty and had to go out and take a photo.
It's a great number plate too :)
For other signs from around the world please go to Tom's blog.
What a shiny red beauty.

DeleteIt's a beauty alright, just a little draughty.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful 25C day, I suppose that is why he took his car out for a short ride :)
DeleteThat's always been my favorite make & model of car!
ReplyDeletebe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
My husband love an MG too, thanks Mae :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Iris :)
DeleteLooks beautiful indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks SC.
DeleteI had to check for an instant. When you talked about "a curvy, renovated, red model" I thought you were describing yourself! And I have no doubt the description fits!
ReplyDeleteLol, David, I cant' claim all those attributes :)
DeleteThis belongs in a museum. It's a real gem.
ReplyDeleteIt is a gem for sure Elizabeth.
DeleteWhat a beauty! I can see myself zooming along the roadways in that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, it would be nice to take a ride in such a beautiful car.
DeleteI would love that car and I'm looking at 70 in a couple of years. Yikes, how did that happen.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Sami. ♥
Yes, it's unbelievable that the MG is 70 years old. Thanks Sandee
DeleteThe 1950 MG TD is a fine looking car, but I prefer the 1956 MGA with its aerodynamic lines. But that's just me. MG has always set the standard for sports cars, and the Mazda Miata continues this tradition.
ReplyDeleteThanks Taken for Granted, you obviously know your cars :)
DeleteThat is one very handsome and sexy car! The red looks very attractive :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stevenson, it is a sexy car :)
Delete...and I have a '50 Ford Coupe, over the plate in the back it's pinstriped "Class of 50." Neat plate Sami. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLucky you Tom, that's also quite a classic car.
DeleteI love it! Wouldn't it be nice to own such a vehicle?!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly would Pat :)

DeleteWhat I'd give to own a car like this!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole. It certainly would be nice to own such a beauty.
DeleteIt's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim :)
DeleteAmazing looking car - great pictures.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan, it certainly is beautiful.
DeleteNão me importaria absolutamente nada de conduzir este carro!!
ReplyDeleteTambem nao :) Obrigada Catarina
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteCan't blame your for getting eager to capture that!
Finished chapter 12 of our manuscript last night and we're not quite done proofreading it before I will upload it to the graphic designer for having the pictures and tables added and doing the Typesetting and then the final proof... Look forward to finishing this mega project. Not easy for writing an academic style book in the form of a handbook.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. Good luck with the book, you've worked hard for it.
DeleteThanks, today I can upload the first batch of 4 chapters where I've placed sticky notes for corrections. These Proofs is pure concentration... But we're getting there! 💞
DeleteSuch a joy to see thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cloudia
DeleteWhat a gorgeous elegant old beauty Sami, wonder what it would be like to drive ✨
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, the owner was so busy chatting to so many people who wanted to see the car up close I had no chance to ask him anything.
