Monday Mural - Dolphins and mermaids

If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you;
just follow the Linky steps below.   Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters.  Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Monday Mural Meme goes lives at 12,01am Perth, Western Australian time.
Thanks, Sami.

When we had lunch at the Vat 2 Restaurant in Bunbury (crn Jetty Road and Casuarina Drive) during our recent trip down south, I came across some great murals.
Outside the complex the VAT 2 mural with a mermaid on one side, and a ship in a bottle on the other side, links beautifully with the site of the restaurant next to the beach.
Painted in May 2018 by Perth artist ArtbyDestroy.

Inside, by the entrance to the restaurant a wall of words and a pod of dolphins also painted by Art by Destroy in November 2017.

Next week I'll show you the other murals inside the restaurant.

  3. Dearest Sami,
    A good mural for that restaurant.
    Well, it took me some time for linking your June 2018 post about the 100th anniversary of May Gibbs about Snugglepot and Cuddlepot, the May Gibbs' book characters published in 1918... But I finally did, don't know if you spotted the link below post.
    Hugs,

  7. This is very beautiful, Sami! "Sadly" you sure find the fire hose reel, looking at the steering wheel! Clever.
    Very beautifully done. Can you imagine to travel like that? I´d be lost with such a sextant, I´d probably find "India" ;-)

  12. Murals are the subject of at least one news article a week these days... truly a popular art form and really being recognized. Sometimes the subject is beautiful murals in jeopardy, like the new Bansky in England that was almost immediately vandalized, but some are upbeat.

    I hope all your participants are reading them, but I'm still tempted to provide a link sometimes. Like this one:
