From our visit to the city of Porto, in the north of Portugal in August 2017.
We visited one of the Port wine houses - Porto Cruz - where people can learn about the production of Port wine and taste a variety of Ports.
In their rooftop terrace you can enjoy views of the town centre across the Douro River.

Port wine tasting and the Porto Cruz building with rooftop terrace |
I like all of these, Sami! Especially the glasses!
ReplyDeleteThe glasses are nice, but the liquid was better Jeanie :) And I'm not a drinker...
DeleteThat building is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteThe building is pretty, covered in blue tiles.
DeleteThat lady is a bit creepy! My Brother has one in his shop, too (a "normal" one) and every time (seldom as it is) she spooks me as she is so tall!
ReplyDeleteI never expected such colors! The first two ones, but not the light ones, interesting.
I suppose because she's wearing black, she looks a bit strange. I loved the white port, had never tasted it before.
DeleteHubby loves ports. He's have a great time here.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
I'm sure he would :) Thanks Sandee
DeleteWOW. Those signs, including the glasses and the windows, are incredible.
ReplyDeleteI also stopped by to let you know I now have regained control of my original blog and have even posted on it.

Thanks Elizabeth. So happy for you, will visit it for sure!
DeleteI haven't had port in years but just reading your blog makes me remember how rich and bold it is. I will have to buy a bottle for sure!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a Port once in a while, and while in Porto I also enjoyed a Port Tonic - tonic water and Port - delicious and refreshing :) Thanks David
DeleteAs caves são um must em qualquer visita ao Porto.
ReplyDeleteE ha tantas para escolher :) Obrigada Pedro.
DeleteThe classic red color one calls out to me.
ReplyDeleteThe red is the classic one for sure, but I loved the white one which was new to me. Thanks Adam.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteThat is a great sign and easy to understand!
Hugs,
Mariette
Thansk Mariette, very easy indeed :)

DeleteVisiting the one of the caves in Porto is always a good idea! I didn't know Porto Cruz had a rooftop terrace. I have to visit them next time.
ReplyDeleteIt had a nice view Sara.
DeleteÉ um nectar dos deuses.
