Painted in 2019 by Xander Rood, aka Amok Island - Dutch born, long time resident in Fremantle (Perth), the Carnaby's Cockatoos, were painted at Calleya Estate in the suburb of Treeby, located within the City of Cockburn.
His murals are usually a little more colourful, this one is quite a dark one.
In the nearby suburb of Beeliar (City of Cockburn), this mural was painted in the parking lot of the Beeliar Community Centre.
Couldn't find information about the artist.

DeleteDear Sami, I like Amok Island's style, although I prefer it when he uses a bit more color. This is probably because I don't like gray walls, and the birds could easily be overlooked from some angles 😊 Nevertheless, his cockatoos are very artistic.
ReplyDeleteThe mural with the silhouettes of birds and plants also uses very little color—but it makes the wall look much more vibrant.
