Murals in Bairro da Torre in Cascais. I had photographed them a year or two ago, but hadn't posted them yet. Both were painted for the Cascais Infinito Festival 2018.
“Someone will take a piece of you forever” for painted by Portuguese artist Mr Kas, who was born in Porto in 1980.
"The World is yours", at Rua das Caravelas 336, by Colectivo Rua - a group formed by the artists: Contra, Draw, Fedor, Ivan, Oker, Mash, Mesk, Podre, Third, TheCaver and Virus.
...Sami, I love the vertical murals that you find, here most are horizontal. Thanks for hosting the party, I wish you a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom. Funny that in Cascais they seem to be painted vertically on the sides of tall buildings.
DeleteThese two murals are so artistic
ReplyDeleteThanks Roentare :)
DeleteI love those streets where you can see one, but also the next one in the background. Berlin has one too. Love these. Esp the first one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lydia. In this area of Cascais you get murals in many streets that can be seen further away in the background.
DeleteI like the two outstretched older hands. Nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew, have a nice week.
DeleteO primeiro é fabuloso.

DeleteGreat murals. I think it was my Dad who took a piece of me forever.
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris. There's always someone who takes our heart.
DeleteI remember seeing some beautiful murals in Cascais a long time ago. These ones are splendid, not only for their pictorial quality but also for their size. I am always amazed by the imagination and fantasy that our urban spaces offer us in the open air. (Kwarkito)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kwarkito. A lot of imaginative artists around :)
DeleteAnother collection of very nice murals Sami. Thanks for showing us.
ReplyDeleteThank you SC. Have a nice week.
DeleteWe didn't spend enough time in Cascais.
