Monday Murals - Black Swans

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth, Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Thanks Sami

The black swan (Cygnus atratus) is a large waterbird species endemic to Australia and mainly found in the Southeast and Southwest regions. They are rarely found in northern or central Australia.

They are the state bird emblem of Western Australia, which was formerly known as the Swan River colony. Perth's northern and southern suburbs are divided by the Swan River.

  1. Black swans are fascinating because they are so unexpected. I also like black-necked swans. Occasionally one escapes from captivity here (in North America) and joins a flock of our white swans.
Nice murals. And thanks for hosting… mae at maefood.blogspot.com

    1. Thank you Magiceye. The blue house is Perth's most photographed house that used to be a fisherman's cottage right on the river, but now belongs to the city of Perth.

  14. Lovely representations of the black swan. I think I like the first one the best. Swans are so beautiful, they make a wonderful artistic subject.

    1. Thanks Sharon. I think the first one is the most artistic one, more realistic with all the feathers, etc.
