And it's now time for the many murals I saw in Portugal...
In the suburb of Torre, in Cascais, (in Travessa do Sargo 102), painted by Dutch duo Telmo & Miel (Telmo Pieper and Miel Krutzmann), for Infinito Festival Cascais in June 2018.
It is entitled "Glocal" (Collecting the pieces from all around the world which finally make up who I am) with a collage technique which embodies the idea that we absorb multiple aspects of various worlds.
Interesting mural, though the colors are a bit too much muted. I wonder if it has faded. I'm used to seeing more dramatic use of color for such large spaces. Still, it's a good find!

I think it has lost a bit of the original colour, since it was already painted 5 years ago. In the original photos on the artist's media it looks much brighter. Thanks Mae

DeleteDear Sami, "GLOCAL" is a good idea, a mix of "LOCAL" and "GLOBAL" and it is a clear sign against xenophobia, because ultimately we are all more or less balanced mixtures of different cultures and origins. I like your mural very much! Unfortunately, when we were in Cascais in 2009, this mural did not yet exist.
