Monday Mural - The Fisherman

A mural of a "Fisherman at the Old Port" in the suburb of Le Panier, Marseille, France, taken when we visited in September 2017.
Painted by Brazilian artist Fabio Cerqueira aka Nhobi. Try and spot the Brazilian flag in the mural...
At the top of the hill is the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde.

  1. Very colourful. I think I see how the flag's been incorporated into it, but I am not always certain of national flags.

  4. It took me a minute, but I found the Brazilian flag. Thank goodness for the last Winter Olympics or I would have been stumped. I really enjoyed this mural. The fisherman was certainly a large presence in the painting.

I hope I got the Mr. Linky correct. Maybe you can add the image to your pinterest page now.

  7. Dearest Sami,
That is quite a mural, a very pronounced way of displaying a fisherman but eye catching!
Yes, he kind of modestly placed his Brazilian flag.
    Hugs,

    1. Just a tiny flag...I suppose the fisherman is the "king" of the mural.

  19. I like it when you can actually know who the artist is on something like that because they really are works of art -- and massive at that!
