One day on the way home I got out at the nearby bus stop, photographed it and caught the next bus home.
Entitled "Heaven", it was painted in 1982 by artists Bronwen Bassett, Jenny Pitty and Kate O'Connor as part of the Women and Art Festival, it shows snippets of old Sydney with the Sydney bridge, heritage cottages, families enjoying a picnic, kids dancing...

DeleteHello, I am Ledan Mini After being in relationship with Anderson for years, he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to my friend and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4 pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem. email: {Supernaturalspell@yahoo.com } or whatsapp him {+2348124644470} ..

Deletebeautiful, so many details. and 1982 you say? even more impressive. most of the murals that I see are rather new. this one aged well (and was not destroyed by vandals).
ReplyDeleteYes Klara, I checked various sites and it was 1982, so it has stood the test of time and doing well.
DeleteThis is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie.

DeleteThis one is beautifully done Sami, love the details and the gorgeous soft pastel colours. It's so Sydney ☺
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, I also liked the pastel colours, very relaxing feeling to it.
Deletenice mural
ReplyDeleteThanks Adam.
DeleteI like how it has softened with age! It's an old one!
ReplyDeleteI assume the muted colours could have something to do with the age of the mural, but it still looks great.
DeleteIt's great and holding up rather well given how old it is. Perhaps its fading as it has aged has enhanced the work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew, I think the muted colours are to do with its age but it looks great.
DeleteLove how the trees were worked in to windows.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Yes,it was very clever of the painters, thanks Dora.
DeleteMurals fade, but in cases like this the fading seems very sweet.

DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteIt is admirable for being able to create such art work in this huge proportion.
How clever they worked in the vertical windows by painting palm trees to the right of them!
Glad you managed to hop off that bus for capturing it.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. The windows were cleverly disguised by the palm trees.

DeleteWhat wonderful details. Looks like a little bit of heaven to me, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie.
DeleteThis has a wonderful look and feel to it, I think it may be because of the soft colours that have been used.
