This mural is on the toilet block at Deep Water Point reserve, overlooking the Swan River in the suburb of Mount Pleasant.
The mermaid and other undersea life is beautifully painted on the front and side of this building. On the other side is another sea related mural which I'll show next Monday.

Deep Water Point Reserve |
Wow, Sami, these murals are incredible. In the first photo, the mermaid shimmers.
ReplyDeleteI was really impressed and enjoyed seeing Deep Water Point Reserve, too. Looks like there are still lots of people on the water. I would have thought it would be very cold by now in your part of the world.
Thanks Elizabeth. It's not too cold yet (day temperature goes to about 22 to 25C (71 to 77F), at night it drops though. But this photo was actually taken a month ago, although I don't doubt that in sunny days like today there would be people on their boats or even surfing.

ReplyDeleteYes, it looks as if she's almost touching the doorknob.
DeleteAt least the place looks pretty.
What a fabulous find, it's a beautiful mural.. no signature? When are you off on your travels Sami?
ReplyDeleteSadly I forgot to look for the artist's name.
