Unusual potting vessels

Around Perth I've found a few unusual potting vessels from a bath tub to an old metal bed frame.
It shows that if you have imagination you can recycle and use anything in your garden.

This was meant to be a very wet weekend but luckily it hardly rained and we were able to buy grass rolls and lay them on Saturday. So much work, our bodies are all sore...old age!
I'll be working on a couple of posts about our garden renovation.

It's looking so much better with a bit of green....

Herbs anyone? Please pick some on your way home...

A plastic tank surrounded by a metal frame holds a tree outside a Fremantle bakery
These aren't unusual, but are pretty cement pots with mosaics, outside the Shipwreck museum in Fremantle

Hope you had/or are still having a wonderful weekend.

Yes, green makes it all better, thanks for the refreshing morning-post! 34 C today expected, last hot day...
My muscles were sore for four days after planting the strawberries, it was hilarious!

    1. Sore muscles after planting strawberries, it would have been a lot worse after laying 40sqm of grass...lol. Yes, I'm so over the moon with the new look garden now, can't wait to show some pics.

  2. That spiral is odd, don't know I would like it to see on the street, a bit too big maybe. The others are very nice for geenspots.

    1. I had one that we threw out when we renovated years ago, I wish I had seen that idea before.
