Monday Murals - Blue and White

These electrical boxes were photographed in Cascais during my visit to Portugal in May.
Painted by ADD FUEL aka Diogo Machado, a Portuguese artist who specializes in painting the traditional blue and white tiles in his murals.

I had previously written a post about a beautiful mural he painted in April this  year, at Curtin University, Perth, during Form 2016.

    1. Yes, tagging seems to be unavoidable with most of these murals, which is a pity! Thanks Tom.

  8. I love how anything can be painted and changing the plain electrical boxes into something gorgeous is a fabulous idea. It's clever how Add Fuel partially covers the box to show the before and after. Stunning work.
Have a lovely week are you dreaming of your next holiday like me?!

    1. Thanks Wren. I hadn't thought of it, but really painting the box partially makes sense. A long weekend away end of September, and I start planning for the December holiday (possibly to Tasmania) when my daughter an son in law visit us.

  9. Oh Sami, these are gorgeous. Blue tiles drawn on those boxes are beautiful beyond words. Although there is a bit of tagging, it wasn't so bad that it interfered with the design, which is what was important.
