For other signs from around the world please check Tom's blog.
Photos taken in Fremantle of the shop window of Elizabeth's bookshop - a second hand bookshop with 4 branches across Australia with over 400 thousand books in stock. After you read your books they will buy them from you :).
YES! My first blind date was with a book! (My only, too) - in Madely, Kingsway Shopping Centre - must´ve come from there, thank you, now I know (sadly it was about how to recycle. Reckon we´re a master in this, I re-wrapped it and gave it back.... - it had hearts on the wrapping paper back then).
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope our TU-phone booth is open - I have so many books to give away! And... post to come. I found so much on the street again!
Great signs, I love the thought - and join - in giving away for free.
Dangerous store, that. Do you remember Graff? Same... They are open again, huhhhh....
I follow the author of that book on instagram, I just don't do it all.
DeleteI have a "low tox life" book, also about changing things at home, body products, etc
Thanks Iris :)
PS. ... reckon you mabey remember, it was around Valentines day... and... you commented, too. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't remember but I went to re-read the post and then I remembered.
DeleteSo nice :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam :0
DeleteNice work. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThanks SC
DeleteMy favourite book shop Sami. I've often been tempted to buy one of those parcels wrapped in brown paper 😉
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace. A bit of a mystery, I do wonder if I would be buying something I would enjoy reading :)
DeleteA blind date with a book seems to hold the promise of success at a far higher level than with a person. Seems like a great idea, and I am quite sure I could invest some serious time wandering around the store.
ReplyDeleteIt's the type of store I enjoy visiting too David. Never enough time to read all the books I would like to read :)
DeleteI remember Grace mentioning this bookshop. It looks to be a cool place to visit.
ReplyDeleteGrace is a regular at Elizabeth's 😁, Thanks Andrew
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteThat looks and sounds like a wonderful book shop!
Love the photos.
Hugs,
Mariette
It is a lovely book shop and a chance to buy cheaper books. Thanks Mariette.
Delete...what a clever idea. Thanks Sami for joining the party, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Tom, enjoy the rest of the week.
DeleteLove your header photo, it is just terrific. What an interesting marketing idea. Personally, I like to know what is between the covers.
ReplyDeleteThanks TFG. I usually don't take a chance on the wrapped books either 😄
DeleteLove that idea!
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting, specially if you like surprises. Thanks Pat
DeleteBest kind of a blind date. How fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Sami. ♥
A great blind date indeed Sandee.
DeleteReally fun idea! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha.
DeleteWho can resist a book?
ReplyDeleteIndeed William, books are so important.

Obrigada Francisco.
DeleteWhat a fun way to promote a store project and get people to read outside their zone!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie, always a surprise book to read.
DeleteWhat a wonderful idea and a way to get people to try to read something they might not have otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susie, certainly an innovative idea :)
DeleteNow that's a fun concept.
