More personalised car registration plates in pink. Do you have personalised car plates in your country? For other signs from around the world please go over to Tom's blog.
...on Maui the plates aren't pink, but I see a dozen or so new one each day. Sami you found some interesting ones Thanks for sharing and happy plate hunting to you!
We have them here. Our current premier, a brain damaged ex-drug dealer goon whose family runs a label company, demanded a redesign. The new plates are apparently being troublesome to be seen at night.
Dearest Sami, Most often they turn out to be some misspelled, poorly chosen 'name'. We have seen only one mushroom colleague who used mushrom which is stupid but that was the limit of characters to chose from. Also I'd never drive with such a pink tag! Hugs, Mariette
Thanks Marietter. I suppose some have to be misspelled due to limit of characters. Some can be difficult to make out what the meaning, or maybe it's just special to the owner.
Some truly clever ones and some I think should be rethought. Regardless, you are always on the lookout for great signs and license plates and these pink ones sure fit the bill.
They are generally referred to as vanity plates here; possibly not a bad name for them. Not something that has ever interested me actually. One thing for sure, you would have no problem remembering your licence plate!
It is fun to read the car plates! Here in Mississippi (USA), we can choose from different letter/number combinations on the official license plate on the rear of the car, and put just about anything we want on the front. Have a wonderful weekend!
Fun ones!!! Strange ones, too...
ReplyDeleteHaven´t seen one in a while here.
Thanks Iris. Some are better than others :)
DeleteHello, fun series on license tags. I assume you can choose you own color..like pink? Wishing you a great day!
ReplyDeleteI think you can choose, because I've seen pink, orange, blue...
DeleteThanks Eileen.

ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, always on the hunt, just sometimes I'm driving and can't take photos. But still plenty around when I'm not driving :)

DeleteWe have personalized plates but no pink one!

Exactly as I already wrote here above: but that was the limit of characters to chose from.😉
DeleteDouluvit had me puzzled without the explanation.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew. Sometimes I take a photo without being able to decipher, but after reading it a few times eventually I do :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Adam :)
DeleteUma matrícula personalizada aqui custa um milhão de patacas!
ReplyDeleteWow, que exagero, mesmo so para ricos! Aqui custa uns 300$ por ano. Por isso ha tantas!
DeleteObrigada Pedro.

ReplyDeleteThat's a good name for them David. It would certainly be easier to remember than the usual numbers and letters as you say :)
DeleteThese are just really fun. I don't think I'd want one and yet I kind of like them!
ReplyDeleteThey are fun, but I wouldn't have one in my car either Jeanie.
Deletegreat collection and nice article! wow
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteOh my gosh you spot so many Sami, obviously popular with young female drivers 😉
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, I agree the pink ones would probably be owned by young girls.

That is interesting Lea. So I presume the police only use speed cameras aimed at the back of vehicles.
DeleteCertainly a colourful pink collection!
ReplyDeleteHope you've had a good week, Happy Weekend Wishes.
